A quite strong variety that usually grows big. It is sensitive to the noble rot.

Oenological potential:
The cluster is big, although the grape is small-medium in size. It offers wines of great color, very tannic and vigorous (a quite hard acidity). This variety allows the elaboration of quality red wines, strong, structures and suitable for aging.
