Phenology: Bud break: mid-season.
Ripening time: early.
Agronomic characteristics: Short cycle variety. Upright growth. Wind sensitive. Fertile, spur pruning.
Medium–high yield potential depending on the site. Sensitive to extreme drought.
Susceptible to oidium and moderately susceptible to excoriose.
Oenological potential: Depending on the yield, with limited yields of optimum products, slight acidity.
Suitable for making young wines following the carbonic maceration process.
Acceptable for ageing in oak casks, with good results.
Adequately harvested, it allows some excellent quality wines to be produced.
